I, and anyone else I am purchasing a ticket for, consent to receiving emails about this event.

I understand that Outlander North Carolina (ONC) and Fraser's Ridge Homecoming (FRH) communicate in two primary ways. (1) Through our Facebook Group and (2) through email. I understand that the Facebook Group, Fraser's Ridge Homecoming Attendees Group, is the quickest avenue of receiving information about this event. I understand that information communicated through email may only be sent out weekly as needed. I understand that NO information will be sent via USPS. I understand that is my responsibility to keep myself informed through either or both of the two methods named above.

I understand that lodging is not included in the ticket price. I have indicated my preference to participate or not to participate in the cabin-sharing program above.

I understand that breakfast and lunch are NOT included in the ticket price. Lunch options will be available for purchase at a later date. I understand that I am allowed to bring my own food to the dining venue.

I understand that alcoholic beverages are not included in the ticket price.

I understand that some workshops will be available for free but others may require an instructor and/or materials fee.

Outlander North Carolina LLC (hereinafter referred to as ONC) is the host of Fraser’s Ridge Homecoming (hereinafter referred to as FRH).

By purchasing an admission ticket to FRH, you are agreeing to ALL Terms & Conditions listed below.

ONC and FRH are in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Sony, Starz, Tall Ship Productons or Diana Gabaldon.

Fraser's Ridge is a fictional location used in Diana Gabaldon's books. It does not actually exist except in the minds of fans. The location of Fraser's Ridge Homecoming was chosen because of its resemblance to what ONC believes Fraser's Ridge might have looked like in the real world. ONC is aware that all filming for the show took place in Scotland, but Jamie and Claire's experiences in North Carolina and the real history occurred here.

FRH is for adults 18 years of age or older.

Payments in installments are welcome after payment of the non-refundable deposit.

The remaining ticket balance is due in full BY JULY 31, 2025.

By purchasing a ticket to FRH, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that he/she has been advised to purchase Purchase Protection and/or private travel insurance and agrees to ONC’s Refund/Cancellation Policy. Travel insurance is highly recommended. ONC IS UNABLE TO GIVE RAIN CHECKS!

ONC accepts no responsibility for personal injury or loss related to FRH before, during or after FRH. All activities are deemed "at your own risk" and by purchasing a ticket, the Ticket Holder acknowledges he/she has read the Waiver & Release of Liability and agrees to its terms.

NO cameras, cell phones or any other device capable of taking pictures will be allowed at the cast member photo/autograph session. A professional photographer will be available for photos with the cast member.

At their discretion, any Special Guest may also attend any other activities/meals on any other day of the event, October 2-5. If this occurs, Ticket Holder agrees not to ask for autographs or photos during those times unless invited to do so by the Special Guest.

An 8 x 10 glossy photo of the cast member will be provided for the autograph & photo session.

Should any special guest appearances have to be canceled due to circumstances beyond ONC’s control, ONC will make every effort to find a replacement for the cancellation. In the event no replacement can be contracted, no refund will be given to the Ticket Holder.

By purchasing a ticket to FRH, the ticket holder agrees to have their image displayed on the ONC website or any other social media site for the purposes of promotion, news and blog articles. Any images or videos taken at the event by ONC are the sole property of ONC, and by purchasing a ticket, the holder of the ticket renounces all rights to any compensation for ONC’s use of these images.

FRH is a Rain or Shine event. Many activities take place outdoors. Please bring an umbrella, poncho, rainboots and/or suitable rain gear.

Tickets to FRH do NOT include accommodations, travel or any other additional expenses incurred by the Ticket Holder, including alcoholic beverages (unless noted) and most workshops.

A majority of the FRH facilities (the term “facilities” does not include cabins used for accommodations) at Leatherwood Mountains Resort are handicapped accessible. The Hendrix Cabin, where some workshops will take place, is not accessible. If you require handicapped accommodations at Leatherwood, please check with the resort directly as not all accommodations are handicapped accessible.

Check in times on October 2, 2025, will be announced at a later date (bring official ID). At the time of check in, you will receive a name badge. This is your ticket, and it must be worn at all times. Anyone not wearing the name badge issued at check in will be asked for identification and may be asked to leave if identification cannot be verified. If you plan to check in at a time other than normal check in times, please notify ONC by email at [email protected].

NO pets are allowed at any of the scheduled workshops, presentations, demonstrations or meals at FRH. Exception: Registered service animals only.

ITINERARY AND APPEARANCES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

You may request a refund of all monies paid towards admission MINUS the non-refundable deposit & transaction fees no later than July 31, 2025. Outlander North Carolina LLC will not give refunds after this date.

If you must cancel after July 31 and have Purchase Protection, you may file a claim for a refund directly with Purchase Protection. Purchase Protection is not affiliated with Outlander North Carolina LLC, and Outlander North Carolina LLC makes no guarantee that Purchase Protection will grant a refund.

Ticket purchaser bears the risk of being unable to attend the event for any reason. Purchase Protection (offered above) or private travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended. Outlander North Carolina LLC does not provide travel insurance. NO RAIN CHECKS WILL BE GIVEN.

Ticket purchaser bears the risk of cancellation of the event, or any part of the event, due to inclement or dangerous weather, Acts of God, or terrorism. In case of such an emergency cancellation, ticket costs will not be refunded. Purchase Protection (offered above) or private travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended. NO RAIN CHECKS WILL BE GIVEN. In the event of cancellation of the event, we will attempt to reschedule to another date, and ticket purchasers will be notified.

Outlander North Carolina LLC reserves the right to alter the advertised time, program, and listing of workshops and instructors, activities, demonstrations, presenters, performers, and special guests due to circumstances beyond our control. No refund will be given in the event any special guest is unable to attend.

Outlander North Carolina LLC will not refund the cost of any other expenses incurred by the ticket purchaser in connection with attending the event, including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation expenses.

Outlander North Carolina LLC will not refund any monies to persons who violate the Fraser's Ridge Homecoming Terms and Conditions as stated.

Since the admission fee does not cover accommodations, please refer to the cancellation policy of where you will be lodging regarding refunds.

Transfer of Tickets

Transferring tickets to a third party is allowed, but Outlander North Carolina must be notified by email no later than three days before the event. Emails should be directed to [email protected] with the name(s) and email address(es) of the person(s) to whom the tickets will be transferred.

In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in A Fraser's Ridge Homecoming (the "Activity"), and as consideration for the right to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge Outlander North Carolina LLC, located at 329 Turkey Ridge, Lansing, NC, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including traveling to and from an event related to this Activity.

I am voluntarily participating in the aforementioned Activity and I am participating in the Activity entirely at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from as well as participating in any aspect of this Activity, which may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own decisions and/or mine or others' negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the Activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during this Activity.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Outlander North Carolina LLC against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf. If Outlander North Carolina LLC incurs any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse Outlander North Carolina LLC.

I acknowledge that Outlander North Carolina LLC and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of Outlander North Carolina LLC.

I acknowledge that this Activity may involve a test of a person's physical limits and/or endurance and may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, lack of hydration, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic and actions of others, including but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, workshop instructors, demonstrators, re-enactors, entertainers, vendors, event officials and event monitors, and/or producers of the event.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS "WAIVER AND RELEASE" AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE AND DISCHARGE OUTLANDER NORTH CAROLINA LLC AND ALL OF ITS AFFILIATES, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, AGENTS, ATTORNEYS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, HEIRS, REPRESENTATIVES, PREDECESSORS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION AND I AGREE TO VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR WAIVE ANY RIGHT THAT I OTHERWISE HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION AGAINST OUTLANDER NORTH CAROLINA LLC FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of Outlander North Carolina LLC, its agents, and employees.

In the event that I should require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

In the event that any damage to property, equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my or my family's willful actions, neglect or recklessness, I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with any actions of neglect or recklessness.

This Agreement was entered into at arm's-length, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an agreement between two parties of equal bargaining strength. Both the Participant and Outlander North Carolina LLC agree that this Agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence will be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this Agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into.

In the event that any provision contained within this Release of Liability shall be deemed to be severable or invalid, or if any term, condition, phrase or portion of this agreement shall be determined to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, the remainder of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect, so long as the clause severed does not affect the intent of the parties. If a court should find that any provision of this agreement to be invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting said provision it would become valid and enforceable, then said provision shall be deemed to be written, construed and enforced as so limited.

I, the participant, affirm that I am of the age of 18 years or older, and that I am freely entering into this agreement. I certify that I have read this agreement, that I fully understand its content and that this release cannot be modified orally. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract and that I am agreeing to it of my own free will.

REFUSAL TO ADMIT. ONC reserves the right to deny or refuse admission to any person for any reason deemed necessary by ONC.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION. A CASH bar will be available at each evening. PLEASE DRINK ALCOHOL RESPONSIBLY. Neither ONC or any of the vendors that supply alcohol or samples will assume any responsibility for a guest that drinks irresponsibly.

CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS. Please be considerate of others during any of the meals, workshops, events, activities, guest appearances and performances. Loud talking when someone is at the microphone is discouraged as it distracts from the event and keeps others from hearing what is being said.

MISCONDUCT. ONC will not tolerate misconduct of any kind. If an attendee or any other participant (vendor, re-enactor, entertainer, or instructor) is behaving in an unlawful, distasteful, disrespectful or unacceptable manner towards another attendee, attendees or our Special Guest, that guest will be removed without a refund.

LIVING HISTORY AREA. Attendees are required to exit the Living History Area promptly at the posted closing time each evening.
